Bristol Bay Lodge has been running fishing trips in Western Alaska for over fifty years, and the program reflects it. The lodge sits on Lake Aleknagik inside Wood-Tikchik State Park, surrounded by some of the most productive and varied fishing water in the state. Guests cover a different stretch of river or stream each day, guided by people who know this country intimately. The accommodations are comfortable, the food is excellent, and for those who want to experience something truly remote, two exclusive overnight backcountry camps take the whole thing to another level entirely.

The main lodge features eight bedrooms, a dining room, great room with fireplace and bar, and a fully stocked pro shop. Four private cedar cabins sit around the grounds for smaller groups and families. After a day on the water, guests have access to a hot tub, sauna, and heated wader room.
For a more immersive experience, the lodge's two overnight backcountry camps, Birch Creek on the tundra and Rainbow Camp on the Bering Sea tidewater, offer heated tents, private beds, running water, showers, and a dedicated camp chef.
-
Guests fly into Anchorage, and the lodge handles all arrangements from there. Charter flights are used for Saturday arrivals; Alaska Airlines scheduled service covers other days. Transfers to and from the lodge are included.
For added convenience, YOTE can handle all travel logistics, including flights, hotels, and transfers, allowing you to focus entirely on the fishing.

The lodge has explored and fished the Bristol Bay region for over fifty years, and the program reflects that experience. Guests fish a new location each day, departing by floatplane each morning to cover the vast surrounding watershed. Home waters include the Agulawok and Agulukpak Rivers, renowned for rainbow trout, arctic char, grayling, dolly varden, and one of the largest sockeye salmon runs in the world. Remote creek fishing offers intimate, technical small-water angling where sight fishing is the rule.
The program also includes two exclusive overnight outcamp experiences at Birch Creek Camp and Rainbo Camp, each offering two nights in the backcountry targeting all five species of Pacific salmon alongside trophy rainbows, sea-run dollies, and grayling.
All gear, tackle, and licensed guiding are included, along with professional salmon processing and packaging at the end of the trip.
An Alaska fishing license and King Salmon stamp are required and must be purchased in advance through the ADF&G website.
