Getting to Gunnison River Farms is simple. Most guests fly into Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), which is only a 35-minute drive from the property. From there, you can rent a car and easily reach the lodge.

Guests arriving from farther away can also fly into Denver and make the scenic drive to Austin, Colorado.

Check-in typically begins in the early afternoon, but guests are welcome to arrive as early as 9:00 AM to relax on the property or enjoy a full walk-and-wade session before dinner.

The season starts with the explosive Salmonfly Hatch, followed by dependable PMD, caddis, and attractor dry-fly fishing through summer.
