These West Texas aoudad hunts are 3-day/4night, fully guided, fair-chase spot-and-stalk experiences set in the rugged mountains near Alpine, Texas, targeting free-range Aoudad during their September–October rut. Hunters use side-by-sides to cover ground and reach glassing areas, then conduct foot stalks once a desirable ram is spotted. The package includes 3 days of guided hunting, field dressing, lodging with a private bed and bath, WiFi, laundry, and 3 daily meals prepared by an onsite chef. Hunters should be in good physical condition given the steep terrain, and will need a valid Texas hunting license, no tag or draw is required. Flying into El Paso or Midland is recommended.

Flying into El Paso (ELP) or Midland (MAF) is recommended, and upon arrival hunters contact the guides directly for further instructions on where to go. Transportation is not included in the hunt package.

Aoudad hunts are conducted in spot-and-stalk fashion on private free-range ranches near Alpine, Texas. Guides primarily use side-by-sides to cover ground and reach glassing areas, where hunters scan the terrain until a desirable ram is located. From there, a foot stalk begins until the hunter is within comfortable shooting range. Hunting takes place during the first and last 2-4 hours of daylight, and all hunters are taken to a range to sight in and check rifles before the hunt begins. The rut in September and October is the prime time, as rams and ewes are traveling together in large herds, offering the best opportunity at a trophy animal.
